The outgoing tenant's name is permanently attached to their review. If they lie and you visit and find it wrong, you tell them directly in the chat. Their reputation on the platform is at stake. And unlike a broker, they have no financial reason to oversell you.
Every listing is manually reviewed before going live. We look for signs of broker activity - impersonal language, multiple listings from the same number, no personal details about the experience. We also verify the phone number against the rent agreement when uploaded.
When you start a chat with an outgoing tenant, your phone number is shared with them. This is intentional - Landlord is a community of people tired of brokers. You are talking to a real person who lived in that flat. They need to know who they are talking to. Your number is not shared publicly or shown on listings - only to the specific tenant you choose to chat with.
